Legal Aid NSW delivers accessible legal services across criminal, family and civil law. We provide advice, court representation, and family dispute resolution through 28 offices and phone-based support, helping people navigate the legal system with confidence and fairness.

About the role

The Assistant Project Officer provides project, administrative and operational support to assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of training, conference and project activities within the Family Law Division. The role supports the Family Executive and Training & Education Officer by contributing to project implementation, maintaining accurate records and documentation, coordinating stakeholder communication and completing administrative and procurement tasks to ensure the timely, efficient and high-quality delivery of training, conference and broader team project activities.

The essential requirements for this role

You must:

  • be willing to do a Criminal Record Check

  • hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency or a valid visa to work in Australia

  • hold a drivers license
